Khwaja Ikram Nizami
Khwaja Ikram Nizami is a Sufi shaykh of Chishti-Nizami sufi order from Nagpur. He is the mureed (religious disciple) of Hazrat Peer Pasha Saheb Nizami and a devotee of Khwaja Hasan Sani Nizami.
Legacy
He is recognized as the spiritual healer in Nagpur and its outskirts. Many people suffering from various ruhani ailments come to his Sufi dormitory (Khanqah) irrespective of their religion to receive his blessing. His Khanqah is located in Satranjipura zone of Nagpur. According to sources he had healed various patients suffering from black magic, evil eye, and Jinns. His selfless service to the community is praised by other sufi Shaykh of the region including Sayyad Mushtaque Hussain Ali Mast Qadri Shattari (one of the current figurehead of the Qadri Shattari silsila leading the silsila in Nagpur). Khwaja is currently living along with her spouse and two children Khwaja Pir (son) and Khwaja Bano (daughter). Javed Nizami is the khadim of Khwaja Ikram Nizami.
Festivals and Rituals in his Khanqah
Khwaja along with his various disciples organize monthly "chhati sharif" on 6th day of Islamic calendar at his place, which is marked by the Fateha of Hazrat Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz, distribution of tabarruk, dua and munaajat.
The another ritual is seen in his Khanqah is "Halke Ki Fateha".
Views
Khwaja considers himself as only the servant of Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz, and the Fuyuz which his disciples are getting are not his own but the Faizaan (blessings) of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Like other Sufis he strongly emphasizes "Sufism as the path to reach Allah" and like other sufis of Chishti order he is fond of Qawwali.
