Mufti Mujeeb Ashraf

Mufti Mujib Ashraf Sahab Qibla (birth name, Muhammad Mujeeb Ashraf ) also known as Mufti e Azam Maharashtra (chief cleric of Maharashtra) was a former Grand Mufti of Maharashtra state of India.[1][2]and sufi shaikh of Qadriyya Barkatiyya Razviyya order in India.

Career

According to an Islamic website Ashraful Fuqaha Mufti Sahab Qibla was born in in Azamgarh District of Uttar Pardesh[3]. He was the desciple of Mawlana Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri(son of Imam Ahmed Rida Khan, Mujaddid of 14th century)[3]

Mufti Sahab Qibla was in broadcast regarding his opposition to "CAA-NRC Bill" [4][5][6]

“The CM met us for 10 minutes and ask if the community is scared about NRC, if so no need to be afraid of, If there is an implementation of NRC than state government will be with the community
